Friends of the Animals is looking for three adventurous supporters to take part in the Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge on 2–3 May and raise vital funds to help animals in need.
This incredible endurance event takes participants along the spectacular Isle of Wight coastal path, passing dramatic southern cliffs, the iconic Needles, historic Cowes and beautiful countryside.
Participants can walk, jog or run, choosing from a range of distances including 10 miles, 25km, 50km, 75km or the full 106km challenge. Whether you’re an experienced endurance athlete or taking on your first challenge event, there is an option for everyone.
The event is fully supported with:
- Rest stops approximately every 12.5km
- Food and drinks along the route
- Medical and welfare teams
- GPS route tracking and signage
- A finish line celebration with medal and T-shirt
Thanks to the generous support of Red Funnel, we have three charity places available for people willing to take on this challenge and raise funds for Friends of the Animals.
Every pound raised will help us continue rescuing and treating sick, injured, abandoned and unwanted animals.
If you would like to push yourself further while making a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
