A team of determined supporters will take on the Ultra Challenge on 2–3 May, pushing themselves to the limit across distances of up to 106km around the Isle of Wight—much of it through the night.
Each participant is a hero. They are not simply running a race—they are running to give vulnerable animals a second chance – like the beloved pets below..
They run for Nellie, an ex-breeding dog who arrived shut down after her ordeal and still has ongoing medical needs. For little Bobby who had an amputation after a nasty tumour. For Oliver, a tiny kitten who needed urgent surgery to amputate his leg. And for the thousands of animals helped each year—those abandoned, injured, or in desperate need, and the owners who cannot afford critical treatment.

Last month alone, the charity spent an extraordinary £47,000 on urgent veterinary care. Every mile covered will help fund life-saving treatment, support rescues, and ensure animals in pain are not left to suffer.
This challenge is more than physical endurance—it is a powerful act of compassion, resilience, and hope.
The charity is calling on the public to support these remarkable individuals and help turn their effort into life-saving care.
