Tuppence is a tiny Chihuahua with a huge heart. At 14 years old, she and her beloved son Pepper suddenly found themselves without a home after their owner passed away—through no fault of their own. Becky, their long-term foster mum, immediately leapt to their aid (who could possibly say no?!) and welcomed them in with open arms.
Sadly, Pepper has since passed away, but Tuppence has continued to flourish in Becky’s care. For the past two years, she’s been enjoying life’s simple comforts: soft blankets, cosy warm spots on the sofa, and all the love she could ever need.

Tuppence may be small, but her spirit is mighty, and she’s cherished beyond measure.
Tuppence is one of our treasured long-term fosters. Because of her age and the regular medication she relies on, she isn’t able to be adopted, but she is safe, settled, and deeply cherished. We cover all of her veterinary costs, while her foster family surrounds her with comfort, care, and all the gentle affection she could wish for in her senior years.
If you’d like to help keep Tuppence feeling her best and support her ongoing medical needs, we warmly invite you to make a donation to the Golden Paws Club HERE.
