Amazing Grace

Grace has finally found her furever happy place.

Update on Grace – smiling from ear to ear.

It’s just over a year since Grace came into our care in an emergency situation. A couple we approached to foster her immediately said yes, even before meeting her.

Unspayed and depressed.

When Grace arrived, she was in a very depressed state and needed a great deal of patience, care, and love to help her come out of her shell.
She was also unspayed, which we arranged straight away; Spaying is not only vital to prevent unwanted litters but also protects against serious health risks such as pyometra — something we cannot stress enough to all pet owners.

A family’s love.

During her recovery, her foster family didn’t want her to feel alone at night – she couldn’t manage the stairs with her stitches and so they brought their mattress downstairs and spent ten nights sleeping alongside her.

From foster to furever.

At the time, the family were “just fostering”… but it wasn’t long before they decided they couldn’t let this sweet soul go.

Amazing Grace.

A year later and Grace is thriving; Her days are filled with walks, games, and endless fun with her favourite toys — especially balls, though squeaky ones never last very long!

We couldn’t be happier to share this wonderful update on Grace’s happy ending.
