When Beau first came to us two years ago, he was a very anxious boy. Bought as a puppy during lockdown, he hadn’t had the chance to socialise properly with people or other dogs. Understandably, the world felt like a very scary place to him.
We knew Beau needed a very special home, one that could provide patience, understanding, and the right environment for him to build confidence. Thankfully, we found the perfect match: a couple with experience caring for an anxious dog. They knew exactly what was needed to help Beau flourish.
Fast forward two years, and Beau has blossomed into a happy, confident, and much-loved member of their family. His transformation has been nothing short of inspiring.
Here’s what his new mum shared about their journey together:
“Happy got Beau day on the 1st of September. Thanks to Friends of the Animals for letting me have the wonderful Beau. He was a challenge to start with, but he has a heart of gold, so we knew he had been loved from a pup. We have so much fun and I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful best friend in Beau. He loves to run and play and learn. He has even won a few rosettes in fun dog classes and loves to jump over fences. Thank you to Friends of the Animals.” ❤️
